Brewers starter Wily Peralta had a strong outing against the Pirates on Thursday. Peralta lowered his ERA to 4.14, as he allowed two runs on five hits over six-plus innings. He walked three and struck out two in the eventual 6-4 win in extra innings.
Peralta blanked the Pirates over the first four innings before allowing a run in the fifth. The Pirates scratched across another run in the seventh before Peralta was lifted from the game.
The Brewers' bullpen was unable to hold the lead, causing the games to go into extra innings and leaving Peralta with a no-decision.
