Brooks Raley claimed by Angels

The Angels have claimed Twins pitcher Brooks Raley off waivers, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. 

The move comes at a convenient time for Minnesota. With Matt Guerrier getting the call Thursday, the team needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster. The Raley move makes that possible now. In 38 1/3 innings in the majors, Raley has a 7.04 ERA.
