Lynn (elbow) was placed on the 60-day DL on Sunday, MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch reports.
Lynn underwent Tommy John surgery last November and is slated to miss the entire 2016 campaign. His placement on the 60-day DL will open up a 40-man roster spot that the Cardinals can use on another pitcher.
