Leake (4-1) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two batters over seven innings during Saturday's win over Atlanta.

The three runs allowed were a season high for Leake, as he had surrendered two or fewer in each of his previous five starts. Already with four wins and sporting a 1.79 ERA and 0.94 WHIP, the veteran has been an excellent contributor to start the season. Unfortunately, his 27 punchouts hardly move the fantasy needle, and with a 6.1 K/9 and 16.2 strikeout percentage during his career, missing bats isn't a strength. Leake will look to continue stymieing opponents in a tough matchup against the Cubs next week.
