Cardinals shortstop Jhonny Peralta gave his team the lead with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning, leading the way to the 3-2 win over the Mets on Friday. Peralta came to bat with the score tied at 1-1 in the sixth. He proceeded to take a Noah Syndergaard pitch over the left field wall for his 14th homer of the year.

The home run was Peralta's only hit of the game, and the 2015 All-Star is batting .268 with three longballs over his last 10 games.
