Molina is out of the lineup for the Cardinals' second game of the day against the Mets on Tuesday.
Molina caught game 1 of the doubleheader, and will get the second contest off as Alberto Rosario gets the nod behind the plate. He went 2-for-4 with a double in the first game Tuesday, to improve his batting average to .283 on the season, while adding on three home runs and 29 RBI.
