Charges against Evan Reed dropped

Tigers pitcher Evan Reed had sexual assault charges dismissed by a judge Thursday, according to mlive.com.

Police started investigating claims of sexual assault in April. The case was resolved Thursday when a judge dismissed all charges against Reed. Reed began the season with the big league club, but was sent to Triple-A in June. He has a 5.30 ERA over 18 2/3 innings.
