Chris Leroux designated for assignment

Yankees pitcher Chris Leroux has been designated for assignment Wednesday.

Leroux was DFA'd in order to make room for Michael Pineda, who was activated from the disabled list. Leroux has appeared in two games in the majors this season, posting a 22.50 ERA.
