Contemplating the 'must-start' player

When I begin prepping for my weekly Start and Sit Hitters column, I first determine which players are "too obvious" at each position.

I use that designation now instead of "must-start" because I want it to be more inclusive. Leagues vary so much in size and format that true "must-starts" are actually pretty rare. What may seem like a must-start to a 12-team Rotisserie owner may not be to a 10-team Head-to-Head owner.

But certain players are so high-end that they really are "must-starts" across the board. Al Melchior and I debated who fits into that category on Thursday's Fantasy Baseball Today. Did we get it right in your league?

We'll have plenty more to discuss today at noon ET. Be sure to tune in and call us up at 877-627-9777 with your questions.
