Cubs' Jason Heyward: Dealing with knuckle injury

Heyward is not in the lineup Saturday against the Yankees with a knuckle injury, though he is available off the bench, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.

Heyward apparently hurt the knuckle on his right hand while attempting a diving catch Friday night, though he was able to stay in the contest and said he was fine afterwards. Consider him day-to-day for now, but it doesn't appear too serious and he should be available for Sunday's series finale barring any setbacks.
