Darin Gorski sliced from 40-man roster

The Mets outrighted pitcher Darin Gorski to Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday after he successfully cleared waivers. Gorski was not expected to crack the opening day rotation after appearing in four games this spring and is no longer on the team's 40-man roster.
