The Diamondbacks activated Chafin (shoulder) from the disabled list Tuesday.
Chafin's recovery from his shoulder injury was slowed by a subsequent groin injury, but he has overcome both ailments and is ready to rejoin the big club. Chafin figures to work situationally and in middle relief the rest of the way.
