The Diamondbacks are expected to activate Iannetta (concussion) from the 7-day disabled list Saturday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Iannetta looked to be at risk of missing extended action after he was drilled in the face by a 93 mph fastball May 12 against the Pirates, but it sounds like he escaped with only cosmetic damage to his teeth and lip. Though he wasn't diagnosed with a concussion, Iannetta was placed on the 7-day DL as a precaution, and with no symptoms surfacing this week, he'll only end up missing the minimum amount of time. Iannetta should immediately resume his timeshare at catcher with Jeff Mathis while Chris Herrmann gets phased out a bit behind the plate.
