The veteran doesn't have a solid timetable to return, but perhaps this injection will help speed up his recovery. Either way, Gonzalez may need to show overwhelmingly positive progress to return before the end of June. It's likelier the Dodgers will keep Cody Bellinger at first base as long as possible and let the 35-year-old take his time to get right for the Dodgers' late-season push.
