Dodgers' Alex Wood: Pushed back to face Rockies

Wood's next start has been pushed back to Friday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Dodgers want Wood -- his dominant 1.92 ERA and 0.92 WHIP -- to take the ball in Friday's series opener against the division-leading Rockies rather than the struggling Hyun-Jin Ryu, who was initially slated to start. Thus, the pair will swap places in the rotation. Fortunately for Wood's fantasy owners, this series will take place in Los Angeles, not at Coors Field.
