Puig (back) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.
A bout of back tightness forced Puig from Friday's game and will keep him on the bench Saturday, but Puig told Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times that he will not need a DL stint. Enrique Hernandez will fill in in right field Saturday. With two homers in his last six games, Puig is up to eight home runs on the year, which puts him on pace to approach 30 by the end of the campaign. He has yet to reach even 20 home runs in a major-league season.
