So you have staff full of two-start pitchers, huh? Guess what: You're not alone.

A whopping 52 hurlers are scheduled to go twice this week, which is about 10 more than usual.

Thank Memorial Day. MLB wants you to spend your holiday at the ballpark, so while normally Monday would be an off day for several teams, that's not the case this week.

It's the usual distribution of good starters and bad, of course, and so you may feel the urge to be more selective, leaving some of your lesser two-start options on the bench in favor of an attractive one-start option. For me, though, that one-start option would pretty much have to be a true ace. Again, most everyone in your league has extra starts at his disposal, so you may need the quantity just to keep up.

That's of course a much greater concern in Head-to-Head play than Rotisserie, where you're looking to preserve ratios over the long haul. My ideal cutoff would be about No. 25. I'd trust any pitcher Nathan Karns and up to deliver desirable numbers in any format, but in a points format, where I could stomach a bad start a little easier, I might push it to 34 if I had the roster space. If nothing else, I'd want to take advantage of Matt Andriese's and Junior Guerra's relief pitcher-eligibility (denoted by the *) in that format.

A couple side notes ... Alex Wood (No. 21) is iffy for Monday's start after getting pushed back Friday because of a triceps issue. His ranking accounts for the risk. Also, Josh Collmenter is a complete guess as the fill-in for Rubby De La Rosa (elbow), which should make Justin Nicolino feel extra special. Whoever makes those starts isn't worth the gamble.
