Giants' Jake Peavy: Manager plans to keep struggling pitcher in rotation

Giants' manager Bruce Bochy has no plans to pull Peavy from the rotation despite his struggles, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Peavy's ERA for the season currently sits at 8.21, with a WHIP of 1.90. In his last start, he faced the Cubs, and let up seven hits for five runs, including one homer in 1.2 innings pitched. Bochy believes that Peavy will come around due to getting 19 strikeouts in 17 innings before his last rough start.
