Osich was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Chris Haft of MLB.com reports.

Osich was promoted to the Giants to offer another left-handed arm out of the bullpen against the predominantly lefty-hitting Dodgers after San Francisco's sole lefty reliever (Steven Okert) tossed 1.2 innings during Monday's contest. Osich struggled with Sacramento this season, posting a 7.71 ERA and 1.61 WHIP across 9.1 innings (nine games), though he holds a career 3.60 ERA across two major league seasons (65 innings). It's unclear how long his stint with the Giants will last, but he could earn his stay if he pitches well.
