Giants outfielder Gregor Blanco has been diagnosed with a concussion. Blanco spent time on the 7-day concussion list earlier this season after an errand throw hit him in the head during batting practice.
Blanco has played in all but one of the team's games so far in September, but it is not yet known if he will be able to return this season.
Outfielder Jarrett Parke r was recalled from Triple-A Sacaramento to take Blanco's place on the roster.
