John Gibbons has revealed that Blue Jays newcomer Ben Revere won't be an everyday player, nor will he bat leadoff, as he did with Philadelphia. He will platoon against right-handers and likely hit ninth.
Revere arrives with a slash line of .298/.334/.374. But Troy Tulowitzki has taken over the leadoff spot and Revere is batting just .250 (19-for-76) against lefties this season.
