Miller came on in the ninth inning of Thursday's 6-3 win over the Orioles and allowed one run while also fanning three batters.

The southpaw allowed a leadoff walk which led to an RBI double from Manny Machado, but Miller quickly shook it off and retired Jonathan Schoop and Mark Trumbo to secure the win for Cleveland. Still, Miller has set such a high standard for himself that it's surprising when he allows a baserunner, let alone an earned run. With Cody Allen on the paternity list, Miller could be the Indians' primary closing option for the next two games, which ups his save potential for a brief window.
