Indians call up CF Tyler Holt from Triple-A

The Indians called up center fielder Tyler Holt from Triple-A Columbus prior to Wednesday's game against the Royals, per MLB.com.

Holt has a slash line of .286/.369/.348 through 320 plate appearances in Triple-A this year.

"He brings a ton of energy, and he's done a real good job at Triple-A," Indians manager Terry Francona said.

Holt is in Cleveland's lineup on Wednesday, hitting out of the ninth spot.
