Kluber said a callus ripped on one of his fingers during his rough Opening Day start, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Kluber said the blister (or possibly multiple blisters) made it difficult for him to spin the ball, and it showed -- he allowed five runs on six hits over six innings. The humidity in Texas didn't help things for Kluber, but it doesn't appear that he will miss any time to the injury. Still, it's a situation worth watching in the season's early weeks. We'll keep an eye out for updates, but assume he'll make his next start as expected.
