Davis is out of the lineup Sunday against the Tigers.
Davis started in the first two games of the series with his former team, going 3-for-8 with an RBI. The 35-year-old isn't in a hard platoon, but he'll still be asked to sit a few times a week with rookie Tyler Naquin proving himself as an equally capable option in the outfield.
