Bauer was forced out of Monday's Game 3 after aggravating a preexisting laceration on his throwing hand, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.

Bauer's start was originally pushed back to Game 3 after he cut his pinkie finger in a non-baseball-related activity. The Indians were unable to stop the blood flow from Bauer's hand, and he was ultimately forced to exit the game. He retired two batters and walked two batters before being replaced by Dan Otero.
