Catcher John Ryan Murphy isn't known for his power, but his first MLB home run came at an opportune time, blasting a three-run homer in the ninth inning as the Yankees rallied for a 8-5 win over the Twins.
Murphy was making just his second start in the last two weeks, but delivered in the ninth, taking Twins closer Glen Perkins deep to right-center for the game-winner. Murphy is hitting .271 on the season with eight RBIs.
