Seager went 3-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and two runs against the Rangers on Thursday.

He's now hit safely in nine consecutive games and homered twice in the last three, continuing the 28-year-old third baseman's season of growth. The home run was Seager's 27th, a new career high, and his current .296 batting average is a nearly 30-point improvement over his previous career best in that category. He can credit progress in his plate discipline, as Seager already has six more walks this year than all of last season.
