Gaviglio came away with a no-decision after tossing five innings Monday against the Tigers, allowing two runs on three hits while walking four and striking out one.

Gaviglio was anything but sharp, allowing baserunners in four of his five frames and throwing just 46 of his 84 offerings for strikes. However, he managed to limit the damage thanks to solid defense, including a pair of double plays. After this outing, the 27-year-old holds a 3.43 ERA on the season, although his FIP is much higher than that, suggesting that he's due for some regression in his upcoming appearances. It's unclear whether he'll get a chance to stick in the rotation, though, given that both Felix Hernandez (shoulder) and Hisashi Iwakuma (shoulder) are due to return from the disabled list soon.
