Dietrich will start at third base and bat seventh in the order Monday against the Cardinals, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Dietrich made a spot start at first base Sunday against the Mets and went 3-for-4 at the dish, but it's expected that he'll settle into an everyday role at the other corner-infield spot with Martin Prado (hamstring) landing on the disabled list Monday. The 27-year-old has always been a serviceable option against right-handed pitching, but those relying on him in NL-only or deeper mixed leagues may want to consider benching him against southpaw-heavy schedules. Dietrich owns a career .222/.300/.340 batting line against lefties.
