Urena (1-1) allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four across six innings to take the loss Friday against the Braves.

Despite giving up more than his fair share of baserunners, the only damage Urena suffered was when he allowed a two-run homer to Tyler Flowers in the second inning, resulting in a quality start. He's pitched well in each of his two starts, increasing the probability that he could hold onto a rotation spot, at least for a while. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Astros.
