Making his second start since returning from the disabled list, Marlins right-hander Jarred Cosart was solid in his outing against the Nationals on Friday. Cosart tossed five shutout innings, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out five. He threw 90 pitches, with 55 going for strikes.

Cosart wound up taking a no-decision after the bullpen allowed the Nationals to tie the game in the sixth. But the Marlins scratched across another run and went on to the 2-1 win.
