Former Mets closer Jenrry Mejia will make his final Triple-A appearance Sunday and then join the big-league team to be activated Tuesday, per ESPN, marking the end of his 80-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.

Mejia, who will not return to his closer role, may wind up serving as the Mets' primary set-up man, sharing duties with Bobby Parnell

Mejia will address his teammates upon his return. The reliever is ineligible for the postseason after testing positive for the steroid Stanozolol. He had 28 saves in 63 appearances last year.
