Tebow will be assigned to Low-A Columbia to begin the season, MLB.com's Oliver Macklin reports.

Tebow is still attending major-league camp and is expected to remain in Port St. Lucie for the next two weeks before reporting to Columbia in the first week of April, when the South Atlantic League schedule opens. After a rough showing in the Arizona Fall League, the former Heisman Trophy winner has been slightly more impressive in Grapefruit League action, batting .235 over six games entering play Monday.
