Kelly went 2-for-4 with the first home run of his MLB career -- a two-run shot -- Wednesday against the Pirates.

Facing off against impressive rookie hurler Jameson Taillon, Kelly first poked a single, then came up in the fourth inning and unloaded a two-run blast over the right-field fence. It's a nice moment for the 27-year-old rookie, but there's not much power in his profile and he doesn't get much playing time either -- although he may have earned a bit of extra opportunity with that big swing. Still, don't overreact to that .391/.478/.548 line he put up for Triple-A Las Vegas before being called up this year.
