Nationals' Jeremy Guthrie: Called back to majors

Guthrie was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday, Dan Kolko of MASN reports.

With the Nationals' probable fifth starter, Joe Ross, not eligible for a call-up until April 12, Guthrie will start in his place for Saturday's game against the Phillies. He likely won't remain on the roster very long, so he doesn't carry much value at all. Michael Taylor was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding move.
