Solis (elbow) reported to extended spring training Wednesday to continue his rehab, Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.com reports.

After he was able to play light catch Tuesday with fellow injured teammate Joe Blanton (shoulder), Solis will now rev up his throwing program in front of team officials in Florida. Since Solis has been sidelined over a month with nerve inflammation in his left elbow, it's expected that the Nationals will take a cautious approach with his rehab. Once healthy, Solis could provide a boost to a Nationals bullpen that could surely benefit from another reliable arm in the late innings.
