Drew, who exited Tuesday's game against the Cardinals early, was diagnosed with a right hamstring strain, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.

Drew strained his hamstring while running to first base and was forced to leave the game after coming up gimpy. Manager Dusty Baker said that Drew's injury seems to be worse than teammate Trea Turner's recent hamstring strain which landed him on the 10-day disabled list. With that bit of information, it sounds like the 34-year-old infielder is bound for a trip to the disabled list. The Nationals will likely need to promote another infielder for depth, while Wilmer Difo should see significant playing time for the time being.
