Roark allowed two unearned runs on two hits and three walks while striking out five batters over six innings during Sunday's extra-innings loss to Philadelphia.

Roark is rounding into a reliable fantasy asset without many highs and lows from start to start. He's pitched at least five innings in all seven outings this season, and he's allowed three runs or fewer in six of them. His numbers (3-1 record, 3.46 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 7.3 K/9) are more solid than spectacular, but with the pool of starters depleted by injuries, there's a lot to like about what Roark provides when he takes the hill. His next start will be a rematch with the Phillies at Nationals Park next weekend.
