Orioles reliever Tommy Hunter allowed two earned runs on two hits in one inning while striking out one in Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Yankees.

"Tommy's got so much, I don't know, loose energy," manager Buck Showalter said after the game, per MLB.com. "He wants to contribute so bad he kind of gets out of whack a little bit. It's hard to back him off. He'll be better. His track record says he'll go through some bumps and you'll like him when it's all said and done."

Hunter has posted a 14.73 ERA in 3 2/3 innings over his first four appearances.
