Aybar is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Rockies.
Chase d'Arnaud is set to take over at shortstop Friday as Aybar gets the night off against right-hander German Marquez. Aybar has struggled from both sides of the plate this season and is slashing a paltry .196/.271/.314 over 153 at-bats. Even when he's in the lineup, Aybar has little fantasy value besides being a low-end option in daily formats.
