Renfroe is out of Friday's lineup against the Giants.
Renfroe will get the day off, his first of the young season. The power has been there for Renfroe, who has five homers and three doubles through 24 games, but he has also struck out 24 times, leaving him with a lackluster .239/.255/.435 batting line. Growing pains are to be expected, but Renfroe needs to find a way to make more contact to maximize his fantastic raw power.
