Perdomo (3-4) gave up four runs (two earned) on nine hits and a walk over six innings in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers. He struck out three.

The 23-year-old turned in his fourth quality start over the last five trips to the mound, all appearances in which he's completed six full innings. He also stayed away from the long ball for the second consecutive start and has now lowered his ERA from a high of 10.38 following a June 5 outing against the Rockies to the current figure of 7.48. Perdomo is clearly still a work in progress but has certainly shown some promise after an auspicious start to the season in relief. He'll look to continue building on his recent momentum in the second half.
