Phillies' Andrew Knapp: Heads to bench Thursday

Knapp is not in the lineup Thursday against the Braves, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Knapp will take a seat after going 0-for-4 in Wednesday's contest and lowering his batting average 16 points to .246. This will be the first time in four games against right-handed starters that Knapp will give way to Cameron Rupp behind the dish, though he should continue to see the majority of time at catcher when the Phillies aren't facing a southpaw.
