Nava was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain, Ryan Lawrence of PhillyVoice.com reports.

This marks the first hamstring injury of Nava's career, so although he's eligible to come off the disabled list May 30, it remains unclear when he'll be ready to return from the ailment. The 34-year-old, who was slashing .305/.425/.458 in 59 at-bats before the injury, should return to a reserve role once he is healthy enough to play. Pitcher Adam Morgan was added to the roster to take his place for the time being.
