Arencibia was assigned to minor league camp Friday, Paul Hagen of MLB.com reports.
Arencibia hit .269 (7-for-26) with two home runs this spring. He is going to be the first catcher up from the minors if anything happens to Cameron Rupp or Carlos Ruiz this season.
