Phillies' Maikel Franco: Homers in loss to Rangers

Franco went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI during Thursday's loss to Texas.

The third baseman entered the game with just three extra-base hits and a .294 slugging percentage through his previous 14 outings and was dropped to the seven-hole in the lineup. It was the furthest down the order Franco has hit since his debut campaign in 2014. He's still sporting a crippling .216/.282/.381 slash line, but his .216 BABIP should have significant positive regression ahead and this stands as a potential buy-low spot. Franco's 14.1 strikeout percentage is a career low, whereas his 34.2 hard-hit percentage is the highest mark of his career.
