Phillies' Peter Bourjos: Likely headed to DL with shoulder injury

Bourjos (shoulder) is likely headed to the disabled list, CSN Philly's Jim Salisbury reports.

He injured his right shoulder running into the outfield wall while making a catch Tuesday. Bourjos sounded pessimistic when asked Wednesday if he would avoid a trip to the DL, indicating that he has some range of motion issues. With Aaron Altherr's rehab stint expiring Wednesday, Altherr's activation would be a natural corresponding move if Bourjos is placed on the DL Thursday. If that is indeed how things transpire, Altherr would figure to get the bulk of the at-bats while Bourjos is out.
