Phillies outfield prospect Larry Greene is having a brutal season for low Class A Lakewood. The 2011 supplemental first-round pick is batting a disappointing .187 through 45 games, tarnishing his reputation as one of the team's top prospects.

Greene entered the season as the Phillies' sixth-best prospect, according to MLB.com.

"I have spoken with Larry, and he needs to turn things around," director of player development Joe Jordan told The Philadelphia Inquirer. "I believe that's about to happen based on what I've seen in recent days. We're going to hang in there with them."
