Sadler underwent Tommy John surgery following the season, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
Sadler dealt with a forearm injury for several months and did not notice improvement, so the decision was made to send him under the knife. A timetable for his recovery has not been provided, but given the timing of his surgery, he may miss the entire 2016 season.
